Profile:
With a career spanning four decades, Amanda Geyer is a cornerstone of the South African flooring industry. Since entering the trade in 1985, she has been a steadfast advocate for quality and professionalism, joining the South African Wood, Laminate and Flooring Association (SAWLFA) at its inception in 1997.
Having served several terms as Vice Chairperson, Amanda made history in 2024 when she was appointed as the association’s first-ever female Chairperson. Her leadership is defined by a deep commitment to the industry’s future, particularly through her voluntary work with SAWLFA’s empowerment and training programmes. Amanda’s passion for mentorship and skills development ensures that the industry that has served her so well continues to thrive for the next generation of professionals.
Sasha Kozinsky
SAWLFA Position: Vice-Chairman
Profile:
I began my career in the flooring industry in 2003, building a strong foundation across both the supply and installation of flooring solutions. Over the years, I have developed extensive experience across laminate, vinyl, and engineered wood categories.
I am a Director at FINfloor, where I contribute to the company’s growth as a leading importer and distributor of flooring products in South Africa. I am also actively involved in the SAWLFA Flooring Association serving on the executive committee and having held the role of Co-Vice Chairman for several years, supporting industry standards, education, and best practices.

Profile:
I am the Managing Director of WIC Solutions, a company I founded and have grown within the flooring and construction industry. My experience spans a wide range of flooring, decking, and bespoke construction projects across both residential and commercial sectors.
Through my role, I have focused on building a strong, quality-driven business, developing systems and teams that consistently deliver high standards and reliable results. I am passionate about the growth of the industry and believe in maintaining professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement across all areas of work.
As Vice Chairman of SAWLFA, I aim to contribute to the direction and development of the association, supporting its members and promoting best practices within the flooring industry.
Andrew Kirkwood

In my position as MD/Owner, Traviata Flooring is a privately owned company with over21 years experience supplying the flooring industry. During that time we have built up strong partnerships with a number of the world’s leading flooring product manufacturers. Traviata was the pioneer of LVT Click and Rigid Core Vinyl Flooring in SA coupled with a wealth of experience in a variety of laminate flooring products. I have been a member of the Executive for 10+ years and remain committed in assisting SAWFLA to maintain and improve industry standards.

I have been in the flooring industry since 2000 and the managing director of Azura Distributors who is a leading importer and distributor in SA.
I have been part of SAWLFA for the last 22 years. I have been on the executive board of the Association for 6 years and look forward to continuing servicing the industry with high standards and ethics to ensure our local industry continues to be amongst the best in the world.

Since 2006, Neil has built extensive expertise in the flooring industry, specializing in the residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors. His core proficiency lies in precision subfloor preparation and the professional installation of vinyl (including homogeneous/heterogeneous sheeting and LVT), laminate, and carpeting.
Pasi P Muzvidziwa

Pasi Muzvidziwa is a seasoned business professional with over 5 years of experience as a Senior Manager in the hardware industry and 18 years as the Founder and Director of Pasi Flooring (Pty) Ltd. He has extensive expertise in wooden flooring, laminate, vinyl flooring, decking, staircases, and wall cladding solutions, covering supply, installation, repairs, sanding, sealing, and refinishing for both residential and commercial projects. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and an NQF Level 5 qualification in Fabrication Engineering, combining strong technical knowledge with strategic business leadership.

For over two decades, I have built a career in the flooring industry. I began with engineered wooden floors and expanded my expertise to include laminated and vinyl flooring products from Europe and Asia. I am very grateful to have experienced the advancements of these products.
Jay Murathlal

Profile:
Jayanthika Murathlal is a full time Director at Top Carpets and Floors Kramerville, an Executive Member of SAWLFA, and an experienced property and operations professional with over a decade of leadership across flooring, real estate, and portfolio management. Her background spans residential and commercial property administration, operational strategy, and client focused project delivery.
Before joining TCF Kramerville, Jayanthika served as Chief of Operations at Zahavi Estates and spent more than nine years at City Property Administration, where she managed residential portfolios and led commercial leasing operations. Her multidisciplinary experience gives her a strong foundation in customer service, compliance, negotiation, and high value asset management.
She holds an MBA from Regent Business School and continues to apply her strategic, people centric approach to business development, team leadership, and long term client relationships.
Marie Neethling

I started my flooring career as a sales representative at Albert Carpets (KBAC Cape Town), where I developed strong product knowledge, technical understanding, and installation expertise while working with architects and designers on commercial and residential projects.
I then joined SA Vloerweelde, focusing on the domestic market with exposure to new builds and renovations across a wide range of products and installation environments.
In 2019, I established the Likewise Cape Town branch as Sales and Branch Manager, with a strong emphasis on training and education—supporting retailers and installers by promoting deeper understanding of industry practices and the reasoning behind installation methods rather than just instruction.

I am the Sales and Product Director at Likewise Floors, with over 20 years’ experience in the flooring industry across a variety of roles, primarily within sales. My experience has given me a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and product positioning within a competitive environment.
In my current role, I focus on product strategy, market development, and building strong relationships across the industry, working closely with both international suppliers and local partners.
This is my first year serving on the SAWLFA executive team, and I am excited to contribute, share my experience, and support the continued growth and credibility of the association.

Shane Reed is a flooring industry veteran who began his career in 1989. From early days at Fotakis Brothers to a 15-year focus on specialised retail and healthcare installations, Shane has developed an eagle eye for the technical hurdles flooring contractors face. In 2024, Shane joined Floornet, where he now provides expert sales and technical support. Shane’s mission is to ensure every project is backed by decades of hands-on knowledge, resulting in solutions that are both durable and commercially smart.
Liza Van der Linden
SAWLFA Position: Secretariat
Profile:
I am the Secretariat of SAWLFA, with three decades of experience in the wood, laminate, and flooring industry. I coordinate the association’s administrative, governance, and operational functions, and serve as the liaison between members, inspectors, and the executive committee.
Through my work, I have developed strong knowledge of industry standards, inspection processes, and member engagement across the supply and installation value chain. I also have practical experience in flooring disputes, inspection reporting, and industry best practices, supporting the association’s credibility and professional oversight in the sector.
